The 1971 Lincoln Festival featured James Taylor, The Byrds, Tom Paxton, Buffy St Marie, Sonny Terry & Brownie Mcghee, Tim Hardin, Pentangle, The Incredible String Band, Sandy Denny, Steeleye Span, Ralph Mctell, Dave Swarbrick and Martin Carthy and Dion.

The Byrds were booked to play an acoustic set at Lincoln, because of the fantastic way they went down playing acoustic at the previous year's Bath Festival. However, they again stole the show by being the only band at Lincoln to play an electric set.

The Lincoln poster is probably the rarest of all the posters that has been reprinted. Only a very few were originally printed and it was only sent out to a limited number of record shops, selling tickets for the event, in the local area

The poster was designed by Ian Beck who amongst other commissions designed the record cover for Elton John's Good Bye,Yellow Brick Road.

The poster sze is 30" x 20" (76cm x 50cm)
